Gunnar Bremer

I live in the south of Munich in Germany on the countryside on a small farm. I moved here after my youth in Hamburg and a couple of years in austria. I am an outdoor person, loving to spent time outside, cycling, kayaking and being in the mountains. I earn a master degree in economics ( HR and Organisational Development) and I am self employed and freelancer as a management consultant and trainer. I specialise in the area of facilitating team and leadership workshops, experientiell learning and outdoortraining.

I personally experienced the Theory U and presencing work through a workshop hold by Otto Scharmer and through the first online course. I had the change to deepen my understanding by choosing dialog and presencing work as a method to develop organisations as my main subject in my final thesis paper at university.

The presencing experience now guides me since then in my professional as well in my privat life. I learned to appreciate the use of reflective inquriy. For my work the Theory U approach offers a fundamental guideline and techniques. It supports me in my awareness and mind condition while working in close contact with individuals and groups in transformation processes.

My intention now with Theory U is to get practical experience to see how beneficial it can be to the work I do and to meet people who are driven by the will to understand and to be of help for living systems, people and communities.

Maybe also I can be of benefit for the gathering with my experience in experientell learning, outdoorwork and also with my curiosity concerning this approach.

The Idea and the purpose to gather and to reflect on the personal experience we all have with people work and how we can be a helping hand for communities and individuals, just feels great to me. The fact that we will have five days together of deep individual and collective learning experiences makes me shiver.
